A new Rasmussen telephone poll suggests that 75 per cent of Americans support the Federal Reserve System being audited. 9 per cent of respondents oppose any effort to audit the nation’s central bank. 15 per cent are unsure.Former 2008 Republican Presidential Candidate and current 13-term Congressman from Texas Ron Paul introduced H.R. 1207, which would audit the Federal Reserve and provide transparency to the general public.At the present time, HR 1207 has 282co-sponsors, including every Republican and 101 Democrats.
