Burglars at Toronto home may have picked up a superbug with them - home’s owner has C. difficile -

TORONTO Police say suspects in a Toronto house burglary didn’t get any loot, but may have taken a superbug with them.
Police say the home in the area of Bayview Avenue and Governor’s Road was broken into on Thursday.
And police say the suspects should see a doctor immediately as the home’s owner has C. difficile.
Investigators say anyone involved in the break-in should turn themselves in and get medical help.
The owner of the residence, who was not there at the time, has been diagnosed with the bacterial infection, which has been tied to at least 24 deaths in hospitals across Ontario since late May.
