Copy Kate: Women Increasingly Seeking Surgery To Replicate Duchess’ Nose -
The world watches when Kate Middleton gets a new hair style or starts a new trend.
But now, some are turning to plastic surgery to copy Kate and as CBS 2′s Emily Smith reported Thursday, Kate’s most sought after asset appears to be her nose.
What Middleton says and does sells.
Jessica Blaier, 21, wanted a change from what she called her “bulb nose” to a nose just like Kate’s.
“I just knew when I saw her nose, it was going to look right on my face,” Blaier said. “She has this beautiful…I call it a bunny hill…a very feminine tip at the end and that’s what I wanted.”
Blaier admitted she’s fantasized about making other changes, but it wasn’t until the royal duchess came along that she and countless others decided Kate’s got a nose worth cloning.
“Many young women are bringing in pictures with Kate Middleton on them,” said Dr. Thomos Romo, director of facial plastic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Romo said the secret to getting the royal nose lies in focusing on the area beneath it.
“It is a strut that actually goes within that columella part of the nose,” Romo said.
It’s not just happening here.
