Urine Controlled Computer Game At London Toilet - Pee-powered fun hits bar toilets -

A BAR has installed a state-of-the-art video game in the toilets — controlled by URINE.
Drinkers can enjoy a spot of simulated skiing or extinguish some virtual flames while relieving themselves at The Exhibit bar in Balham, south London.

High-tech sensors detect the direction of urine and translate it into action on a 12-inch screen above every urinal.

By aiming carefully while spending a penny, users can guide a skier off piste or put out a raging inferno during their 60-second toilet trip.

Falklands: Britain dusts off war plans and a nuclear submarine after Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay to block islands -

Military chiefs are dusting off their plans for the defence of the Falklands after South American countries banned ships from the islands docking in their ports.

Sources fear Prince William’s six-month deployment to the South Atlantic as an air-sea rescue pilot next year could provoke more sabre-rattling.

Yesterday Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner claimed Britain was ready to use its military to steal natural resources ‘anywhere, anyhow’.

She said: ‘They’re currently taking our oil reserves and fish stocks from the Falklands but when they need more natural resources they will come and use force to steal them wherever and however they can.

Mercosur, the South American trading block which also includes Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay have agreed to ban boats sailing under the Falklands flag from docking at their ports – even though Paraguay does not even have a coastline.

Police with Locksmiths going DOOR-TO-DOOR, ENTERING HOMES TO SHUT OFF GAS... -

Police with Locksmiths going DOOR-TO-DOOR, ENTERING HOMES TO SHUT OFF GAS... -

National Grid spent Wednesday night going door-to-door to shut off gas in Westerly, because the pressure is too low. Nearly 1,600 homes are experiencing problems with their natural gas lines.

The areas of Main Street and Canal Street are affected. The area is also filled with businesses, who are also impacted by the issue.

"It’s going to be devastating to be without heat or power for this holiday season. It’s our crunch, time," said Molly Silva, a business owner.

If no one is home at the time, police officers along with a locksmith are entering homes to shut the valves off.

"Thank god no snow, no frost, no freezing temperatures yet. We just hope for the best. Hopefully we can get some things going for Christmas. I have a meal to prepare, hopefully we are good to go by then," said Westerly resident Mallory Carpenter.

After National Grid has checked each affected home, and the problem has been resolved, they will return to each home and business to turn the meters back on.

Officials said this is not an easy fix, and expect the process at least a day or so. Right now, no homes are in danger.

National Grid is asking that anyone in that area who does not have natural gas, to please call 1-800-640-1595.

Did Bo Return From Hawaii for Obama’s Photo Op? -

Did Bo Return From Hawaii for Obama’s Photo Op? -

Bo Obama was supposed to be in Hawaii. Instead, he showed up at President Obama’s side Wednesday shopping for treats at Pet Smart

According to Michelle Obama’s press office, the first dog was planning to go to Hawaii with the first lady and the Obama daughters. The Associated Press reported that he in fact had made it there. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser quoted an eyewitness who said he had seen the Portuguese Water Dog having his walk.

So what is Bo doing back in Washington shopping at PetSmart?

Either all these reports are mistaken, or Bo was told his vacation was over and that he had to return to the White House to keep a lonely president company – and participate in a silly photo op presenting Obama as an average guy who likes to head out to the PetSmart.

If Bo returned from Hawaii, who paid for his flight?

It’s possible he hitched a ride on a return flight of the Air Force plane that brought Michelle from Hawaii, which wouldn’t have really added much to Michelle’s more than $100,000 price tag for her solo trip.

Or maybe he commandeered his own Air Force jet.
