20 Facts That Will Make You Really Mad If You Stop And Think About Them For A While -

20 Facts That Will Make You Really Mad If You Stop And Think About Them For A While -

The more you read the news today the more likely you are to get really mad.  The world is becoming an incredibly crazy place, and at times the amount of bad news that is coming out can seem almost overwhelming.  Everywhere you look, the poor are being oppressed, our politicians are making stupid decisions and evil is on the march.  The America that so many of us grew up deeply loving is literally being ripped to shreds in a thousand different ways.  Unfortunately, those in power have not had any real answers for us in decades.  The Democrats don’t have any real answers, the Republicans don’t have any real answers and the Federal Reserve sure as heck does not have any real answers.  In fact, it seems like almost everything that our leaders actually do “accomplish” only makes things worse.  The vast majority of Americans are quite busy being entertained by “bread and circuses”, but meanwhile our country is literally falling apart.
The following are 20 facts that will make you really mad if you stop and think about them for a while….
#1 Since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913, the U.S. dollars has declined in value by over 95 percent.
#2 The difference between the budget that the “big spending Democrats” are proposing and the budget that the “big spending Republicans” are proposing is only about 32 billion dollars.  Considering the fact that our national budget deficit is going to run about 1.5 trillion dollars this year, 32 billion dollars is not a whole heck of a lot to cut.
#3 Japan now manufactures about 5 million more automobiles than the United States does.
#4 China has now become the world’s largest exporter of high technology products.
#5 The U.S. government currently owes China 895 billion dollars and we are constantly sending government officials over there to beg them to lend us even more money.
#6 The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Dennis Lockhart, says that the Federal Reserve is not responsible for the rising cost of living….
The Fed, like every other central bank, is powerless to prevent fluctuations in the cost of living and increases of individual prices. We do not produce oil. Nor do we grow food or provide health care. We cannot prevent the next oil shock, or drought, or a strike somewhere —events that cause prices of certain goods to rise and change your cost of living.
#7 The price of food is going up, the price of gasoline is going up, but home values continue to go down.  According to CoreLogic, national home prices were 5.46 percent lower in December 2010 than they were in December 2009.#8 In Osceola County, Florida 66.5% of all home mortgages are underwater.  In Clark Country, Nevada 71.1% of all home mortgages are underwater.
#9 There are approximately 28 million Americans that would like full-time jobs but that don’t have full-time jobs.
#10 In a recent interview, Donald Rumsfeld said that he takes “great pride in the structures that the Bush administration put in place that this Obama administration criticized and ran against and now have retained: military commissions and indefinite detention and (the prison at) Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.”
#11 The number of net jobs gained by the U.S. economy during this past decade was smaller than during any other decade since World War 2.
#12 The Obama administration and the Federal Reserve are both declaring that the U.S. economy is in recovery mode, and yet an all-time record of 43.6 million Americanswere on food stamps during the month of November.
#13 According to a report published in The American Journal of Medicine, medical bills are a major factor in more than 60 percent of the personal bankruptcies in the United States.  Of those bankruptcies that were caused by medical bills, approximately 75 percent of them involved individuals that actually did have health insurance.
#14 A Super Bowl television ad that encouraged people to look up John 3:16 was rejected by Fox Sports because they felt that it was “too offensive“.
#15 In Houston, Texas a couple named Bobby and Amanda Herring that had been feeding homeless people for over a year has been banned by the city from doing so.  They were told that they needed a permit to feed the homeless and city officials say that they are not going to get one.
#16 A study by the World Institute for Development Economics Research found that the bottom half of the world population owns approximately 1 percent of all global wealth.
#17 Approximately 1 billion people throughout the world go to bed hungry each night.
#18 During Barack Obama’s first two years in office, the U.S. government added more to the U.S. national debt than the first 100 U.S. Congresses combined.
#19 An increasing number of investors are betting that the U.S. government will default on its debt.  In fact, trading of U.S. credit default swap contracts has more than doubled over the last several weeks.
#20 The fastest growing portion of the federal budget is interest on the national debt.

Health magazine picks ‘drunkest’ city in the U.S - Fresno, Calif, has beaten out booze-friendly Las Vegas and New York City -

Fresno, Calif., has topped Men’s Health magazine’s list of drunkest U.S. cities, beating out booze-friendly Las Vegas and New York City.
The magazine, which will publish its list of 100 cities in its March edition that range from “drunkest” to “least drunk,” based the results on data collected from the FBI, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, theInsurance Institute for Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Fatality Analysis Reporting System.
Researchers looked at DUI-related crashes and arrests, death rates from alcoholic liver disease statistics, and frequency of binge drinking in the last month.
Fresno received a failing grade from the magazine for a high number of liver-disease deaths, DUI-related crashes, and binge drinking.
Reno, Nev., came second, followed by Billings, Montana, Riverside, Calif., and Austin.
Las Vegas came 11th, while the Big Apple, which is home to an estimated 33,000 bars and restaurants, according to real estate siteHomeInsight.com, came in at No. 93.
Boston, famous for its Cheers bar, is the “least drunk” city, according to the magazine’s findings.
Fresno is California’s fifth largest city and is situated about 320 kilometres north of Los Angeles. Fresno’s current population is about 500,000, with a median age of 29, according to data from the California Department of Finance, Demographic Research Unit.
The city has approximately 1,824 bars and restaurants within 24 kilometres, HomeInsight.com reported.

The largest digital colour picture ever of the night sky goes online - built from more than a trillion pixels -

The data used to create this photograph captures “the name of every galaxy in the observed universe, its position in the sky, its colour, its shape. In all, 144 pieces of information for every single one of the 500 million galaxies.”

The largest digital colour picture ever made of the night sky is built from more than a trillion pixels.
It would take 500,000 high-definition TVs to see the image at full resolution.
And that, Dr. Bob Nichol of the University of Portsmouth told the Star on Tuesday, is only a fraction of what’s really out there.
Beyond the half-billion galaxies – captured on the free downloadable images released by theSloan Digital Sky Survey III – are what he can only call “a lot more” – the other 90 per cent of the still-unobserved universe.
Still, the swirling blues and greens, the ominous red elliptical swarms, and the glittering gases against a tweedy-looking backdrop of sky are capturing “a tremendous surge of interest,” Nichol said with delight.
While the pictures fire the imagination, the accompanying comprehensive data on what might be the world’s largest spread sheet is intriguing professional and amateur astronomers.
That data captures “the name of every galaxy in the observed universe, its position in the sky, its colour, its shape. In all, 144 pieces of information for every single one of the 500 million galaxies.”
Scientists have seized on the numbers for two reasons: to find the odd, unexplained, undiscovered parts of the cosmos; and to find the patterns.
“Imagine if you have half a billion objects – one or two of them can be quite strange,” said Nichol, a cosmologist and spokesman for SDSS III. “That’s how quasars were detected in the 1970s.”
Among the patterns is the “rather simplified” knowledge that all galaxies are of two types: our own blue spiral Milky Way full of young stars, and red elliptical galaxies studded with old stars.
“Why are there two types? Astronomers are tacking that one still. I use the analogy: Why are there only men and women?”
While the SDSS III terapixel achievement creates a core of data that can be used for decades for research, Nichol expects it may be transcended in 10 years by a video of the known universe, rather than just a still picture.
That, he said, would mean Earthlings could watch “asteroids move and super novas go off. Technology isn’t there yet, but it will be.”
How reliable is one still picture of things light years away?
“The good news is that most objects don’t change in time. Galaxies are quite boring and tend to stay the same for a couple of billion years. Stars change, galaxies don’t.”
The image was started in 1998 using what was then the world’s largest digital camera, at 138-megapixels, attached to a 2.5-metre telescope at the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico.
The camera is being retired to the Smithsonian as part of its astronomy collection.

NYC Public Schools reported 1,700 confirmed bedbug cases in first five months of school year -

NYC Public Schools reported 1,700 confirmed bedbug cases in first five months of school year -

Bedbugs are plaguing New York City public schools like never before, according to the latest stats from the Department of Education.
City schools reported 1,700 confirmed bedbug cases in just the first five months of the school year --  a rate that's on pace to triple last year’s total of 1,019 cases.
The parasitic pests have thrived in the winter season, it appears, with 80 percent of cases having been reported during November, December and January.
"It's just an outbreak and I don't know how they can stop it," saidWendy Tatum, a mother at PS 54 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, one of hundreds of schools to have had at least one confirmed case.

The Dept. of Ed is required to record any incidents where an infestation is found, but spokesperson Marge Feinberg said this uptick in cases is fueled not by infestations but by individual students who come to school with bedbugs.

"It is important to know that schools are not hospitable places for bedbugs," Feinberg said. “They are brought into schools from the clothing.”
Last year, city officials acknowledged the bedbug resurgence reached "an unprecedented rate of spread" and pledged to combat the crisis with $500,000 to raise public awareness.

In schools, that meant a new four-step protocol for dealing with cases and increased communication between schools and parents. But those efforts have been futile because so many homes are already infested.
And while private homes continue to be the source of most infestations, bedbugs hitchhike on the clothes and bags of their hosts to spead elsewhere, experts say.

“Bedbugs need to be where people are,” said Missy Henrickson, of the National Pest Management Association. “So when you have homes infested with bedbugs, (students) who live there are carrying the bedbugs on them and bringing them into schools.”

With 1.1 million students and 100,000 teachers, New York’s schools serve as a major transportation hub for bedbugs and present an enormous challenge for pest control professionals trying reduce the citywide spread.

In winter months, when students come to school with more personal belongings, like gloves, hats and coats, the problem is even worse.
“Schools are a major transfer point from one place to another,” saidElio Chiavola, owner of Metro Bed Bug Dogs, a Brooklyn-based company that specializes in treating private residences for bed bugs. “It’s been a huge problem for schools.”
A more nuanced explanation for the surge might be that people are more aware of the epidemic and better equipped to look for and identify the crumb-sized insects.
Feinberg declined to name specific schools. A bedbug advisory report last year noted that bedbugs were found in 243 schools in 541 cases from the 2008-2009 school year, suggesting that that number could be much higher for this year's total.

VP Biden announces $53 billion high-speed rail plan - goal of giving 80 percent of Americans access to high-speed rail -

The Obama administration is proposing to spend $53 billion over the next six years to help promote the construction of a national high-speed, intercity passenger rail network, Vice President Joe Biden announced Tuesday.
The proposal represents a significant expansion of the $10.5 billion already spent on high-speed rail expansion since Obama entered office, including $8 billion in the 2009 economic stimulus package.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters potential funding sources for the plan will be outlined in the president's proposed budget, which is scheduled to be released next week.
President Barack Obama said in last month's State of the Union address that he was setting a goal of giving 80 percent of Americans access to high-speed rail within 25 years.
The proposed new investment -- including $8 billion in the upcoming fiscal year -- would accompany a streamlined application process for cities, states, and private companies seeking federal grants and loans to develop railway capacity.
"There are key places where we cannot afford to sacrifice as a nation -- one of which is infrastructure," Biden said in a written statement. There is a pressing need "to invest in a modern rail system that will help connect communities, reduce congestion and create quality, skilled manufacturing jobs that cannot be outsourced."
Biden, who commuted regularly by train between Washington and his home state of Delaware during a 36-year Senate tenure, has been a prominent advocate for railway travel and, more specifically, Amtrak.
A new high-speed rail investment, however, may face a cool reception in the new, more Republican Congress. GOP leaders have called for more spending cuts in the wake of spiraling federal deficits. Obama has also called for more fiscal responsibility, proposing in his State of the Union address a five-year freeze on non-security discretionary spending.

China's poor treated to fake rice made from plastic - "rice" is made by mixing potatoes, sweet potatoes and plastic -

China's history with food safety is a rocky one, but even in the annals of robbery and abuse, this will go down in infamy.
Various reports in Singapore media have said that Chinese companies are mass producing fake rice made, in part, out of plastic, according to one online publication Very Vietnam.
The "rice" is made by mixing potatoes, sweet potatoes and plastic. The potatoes are first formed into the shape of rice grains. Industrial synthetic resins are then added to the mix. The rice reportedly stays hard even after being cooked.
The Korean-language Weekly Hong Kong reported that the fake rice is being sold in the Chinese town of Taiyuan, in Shaanxi province.
"A Chinese Restaurant Association official said that eating three bowls of this fake rice would be like eating one plastic bag. Due to the seriousness of the matter, he added that there would be an investigation of factories alleged to be producing the rice," Very Vietnam noted.
Unfortunately, it's not the first time fake rice has been sold in China, according to China's Global Times.
Previously, a company in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province had added flavoring to ordinary rice to synthesize "Wuchang rice," which is regarded to be the best rice in the country.
About 300,000 people were injured and at least six infants died in 2008 when Chinese milk and infant formula was found to be adulterated with melamine, which was thought to help the milk pass nutrition tests.
Later that year, melamine was also discovered in Chinese eggs.

Ron Paul “Strongly Considering” 2012 WH Bid; Accepts Invitation to Speak in Iowa -

Texas Congressman Ron Paul "is strongly considering a run [for president] in 2012 and is currently assessing his prospects," according to Jesse Benton, Senior Advisor to Rep. Paul's Campaign for Liberty organization. This news comes on a day when we've also found out Paul has accepted an invitation to speak in Iowa next month.
The Family Leader, a new conservative activist organization, sent out a news release this morning announcing Paul would participate in the organization's "presidential lecture series."
The organization has been reaching out to potential 2012 candidates and inviting them to Iowa to give voters in the Hawkeye State "an educational opportunity to become better informed on the pro-family vision of each lecturer."
The series kicks off today with former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, who is widely considered to be preparing for a run at the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. Other possible candidates who've committed to speak at events with the group in the coming months are Rep. Michele Bachman, former US Senator Rick Santorum, former Speaker of the US House Newt Gingrich and radio talk-show host Herman Cain.
Paul has run unsuccessfully for president twice. Once as the Liberterian Party nominee in 1988 and as a Republican in 2008. The 11-term Congressman's son, Rand, was elected by Kentucky last fall to represent them in the US Senate.

Here Are 17 Facts Which Prove America Is A Debt Pig That Is Deeply Addicted To Debt-Fueled Prosperity -

Here Are 17 Facts Which Prove America Is A Debt Pig That Is Deeply Addicted To Debt-Fueled Prosperity -

Wasn’t the Super Bowl wonderful this year?  Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers!  It is amazing how much money people will spend to attend this game each year.  Just a few hours before kickoff, some tickets were selling for over $4000 a seat.  Not that it wasn’t a great show.  It turned out to be a really great game and it was held in perhaps the most extravagant sports facility ever constructed in the history of mankind.  Even the halftime show, featuring the Black Eyed Peas, was a spectacle of historic proportions.  This year the Super Bowl truly was quite a grand party.  In America, everything always has to be bigger and better.  We take pride in constantly outdoing ourselves.  Other nations of the world look at our great prosperity in envy.  But do we ever stop to ask ourselves where all of this great prosperity has come from and if we can continue to afford it all?
The sad truth is that we were once the wealthiest, most prosperous nation on the planet, but now we are deeply drowning in debt.  America has become a debt pig that is deeply addicted to debt-fueled prosperity.  We had more than any other nation on the planet by far, but that was never good enough for us.  We always had to have more.  So we borrowed and borrowed and borrowed.  Now, average household debt is far larger than average household income, state and local governments across the nation are on the verge of default and our national government has piled up the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world.
Just read the statistics compiled below.  Is there anyone out there that can deny that America has become a fat, bloated debt pig that is completely and totally out of control?
So I hope that you enjoyed the spectacle of Super Bowl Sunday, because there won’t be too many more times like this.  The greatest debt-fueled party in the history of the world is rapidly coming to an end, and pretty soon it will be time to start turning out the lights.
The following are 17 statistics about debt in America that are almost too outrageous to believe….

#1 The U.S. national debt is now well over 14 trillion dollars and it is being projected that the U.S. government will have the biggest budget deficit ever recorded this fiscal year.
#2 It is estimated that the U.S. national debt will increase by $150,000 per U.S. household between 2009 and 2021.
#3 During Barack Obama’s first two years in office, the U.S. government added more to the U.S. national debt than the first 100 U.S. Congresses combined.
#4 Unfunded liabilities for entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare are estimated to be well over $100 trillion, and nobody in the U.S. government seems to have any idea how we are actually even going to come close to meeting all of those obligations.
#5 When you add up all forms of debt in the United States (government debt, business debt and consumer debt) it comes to approximately 360 percent of GDP.  This represents the biggest debt bubble in the history of the worldby far.
#6 Today, state and local government debt has reached at an all-time high of 22 percent of U.S. GDP.
#7 Unfunded pension benefit liabilities at the state government level - the amount state governments owe in promised retirement benefits beyond what they have collected - exceed $3 trillion.
#8 Average household debt in the United States has now reached a level of 136% of average household income.  In China that figure is only 17%.
#9 Today, 46% of all Americans carry a credit card balance from month to month.
#10 Of U.S. households that have credit card debt, the average amount owed on credit cards is $15,788.
#11 Americans now owe more than $887 billion on student loans, which is even more than they owe on credit cards.
#12 A staggering 25 percent of all American adults now have a credit score below 599.
#13 According to a survey released very close to the end of 2010, 55 percentof all Americans are now living paycheck to paycheck.  The sad truth is that most of us are maxed out.
#14 1.5 million Americans filed for bankruptcy in 2010.  That represented the fourth yearly increase in bankruptcy filings in a row.
#15 One out of every 45 U.S. households was hit with a foreclosure filing in 2010.
#16 The number of American families that were actually booted out of their homes and into the streets set a new all-time record in 2010.
#17 Even as the suffering of the poor is going up the generosity of the wealthy is going down.  It turns out that America’s wealthiest individuals gave a lot less money to charity in 2010.

Magnetic polar shifts causing massive global superstorms -

Magnetic polar shifts causing massive global superstorms -

NASA has been warning about it…scientific papers have been written about it…geologists have seen its traces in rock strata and ice core samples…
Now "it" is here: an unstoppable magnetic pole shift that has sped up and is causing life-threatening havoc with the world's weather.
Forget about global warming—man-made or natural—what drives planetary weather patterns is the climate and what drives the climate is the sun's magnetosphere and its electromagnetic interaction with a planet's own magnetic field.

When the field shifts, when it fluctuates, when it goes into flux and begins to become unstable anything can happen. And what normally happens is that all hell breaks loose.
Magnetic polar shifts have occurred many times in Earth's history. It's happening again now to every planet in the solar system including Earth.
The magnetic field drives weather to a significant degree and when that field starts migrating superstorms start erupting.
The superstorms have arrived
The first evidence we have that the dangerous superstorm cycle has started is the devastating series of storms that pounded the UK during late 2010.
On the heels of the lashing the British Isles sustained, monster storms began to pummel North America. The latest superstorm—as of this writing—is a monster over the U.S. that stretched across 2,000 miles affecting more than 150 million people.
Yet even as that storm wreaked havoc across the Western, Southern, Midwestern and Northeastern states, another superstorm broke out in the Pacific and closed in on Australia.
The southern continent had already dealt with the disaster of historic superstorm flooding from rains that dropped as much as several feet in a matter of hours. Tens of thousands of homes were damaged or destroyed. After the deluge bull sharks were spotted swimming between houses in what was once the quiet town of Goodna.
Shocked authorities now numbly concede that some of the water may never dissipate and have wearily resigned themselves to the possibility that region will now contain a small inland sea.
But then only a handful of weeks later another superstorm—the mega-monster cyclone Yasi—struck northeastern Australia. The damage it left in its wake is being called by rescue workers a war zone.
The incredible superstorm packed winds near 190mph. Although labeled as a category-5 cyclone, it was theoretically a category-6. The reason for that is storms with winds of 155mph are considered category-5, yet Yasi was almost 22 percent stronger than that.
A cat's cradle
Yet Yasi may only be a foretaste of future superstorms. Some climate researchers, monitoring the rapidly shifting magnetic field, are predicting superstorms in the future with winds as high as 300 to 400mph.
Such storms would totally destroy anything they came into contact with on land.
The possibility more storms like Yasi or worse will wreak havoc on our civilization and resources is found in the complicated electromagnetic relationship between the sun and Earth. The synergistic tug-of-war has been compared by some to an intricately constructed cat's cradle. And it's in a constant state of flux.

The sun's dynamic, ever-changing electric magnetosphere interfaces with the Earth's own magnetic field affecting, to a degree, the Earth's rotation, precessional wobble, dynamics of the planet's core, its ocean currents and—above all else—the weather.
Cracks in Earth's Magnetic Shield
The Earth's northern magnetic pole was moving towards Russia at a rate of about five miles annually. That progression to the East had been happening for decades.
Suddenly, in the past decade the rate sped up. Now the magnetic pole is shifting East at a rate of 40 miles annually, an increase of 800 percent. And it continues to accelerate.
Recently, as the magnetic field fluctuates, NASA has discovered "cracks" in it. This is worrisome as it significantly affects the ionosphere, troposphere wind patterns, and atmospheric moisture. All three things have an effect on the weather.
Worse, what shields the planet from cancer-causing radiation is the magnetic field. It acts as a shield deflecting harmful ultra-violet, X-rays and other life-threatening radiation from bathing the surface of the Earth. With the field weakening and cracks emerging, the death rate from cancer could skyrocket and mutations of DNA can become rampant.
Another federal agency, NOAA, issued a report caused a flurry of panic when they predicted that mammoth superstorms in the future could wipe out most of California. The NOAA scientists said it's a plausible scenario and would be driven by an "atmospheric river" moving water at the same rate as 50 Mississippi rivers flowing into the Gulf of Mexico.
Magnetic field may dip, flip and disappear
The Economist wrote a detailed article about the magnetic field and what's happening to it. In the article they noted:
"There is, however, a growing body of evidence that the Earth's magnetic

field is about to disappear, at least for a while. The geological record shows that it flips from time to time, with the south pole becoming the north, and vice versa. On average, such reversals take place every 500,000 years, but there is no discernible pattern. Flips have happened as close together as 50,000 years, though the last one was 780,000 years ago. But, as discussed at the Greenland Space Science Symposium, held in Kangerlussuaq this week, the signs are that another flip is coming soon."
Discussing the magnetic polar shift and the impact on weather, the scholarly paper "Weather and the Earth's magnetic field" was published in the journal Nature. Scientists too are very concerned about the increasing danger of superstorms and the impact on humanity.
Superstorms will not only damage agriculture across the planet leading to famines and mass starvation, they will also change coastlines, destroy cities and create tens of millions of homeless.
Superstorms can also cause certain societies, cultures or whole countries to collapse. Others may go to war with each other.
A Danish study published in the scientific journal Geology, found strong correlation between climate change, weather patterns and the magnetic field.
"The earth's climate has been significantly affected by the planet's magnetic field, according to a Danish study published Monday that could challenge the notion that human emissions are responsible for global warming.
"'Our results show a strong correlation between the strength of the earth's magnetic field and the amount of precipitation in the tropics,' one of the two Danish geophysicists behind the study, Mads Faurschou Knudsen of the geology department at Aarhus University in western Denmark, told the Videnskab journal.
"He and his colleague Peter Riisager, of the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), compared a reconstruction of the prehistoric magnetic field 5,000 years ago based on data drawn from stalagmites and stalactites found in China and Oman."
In the scientific paper "Midday magnetopause shifts earthward of geosynchronous orbit during geomagnetic superstorms with Dst = -300 nT" the magnetic intensity of solar storms impacting Earth can intensify the effects of the polar shift and also speed up the frequency of the emerging superstorms.
Possible magnetic pole reversal may also be initiating new Ice Age
According to some geologists and scientists, we have left the last interglacial period behind us. Those periods
are lengths of time—about 11,500 years—between major Ice Ages.
One of the most stunning signs of the approaching Ice Age is what's happened to the Chandler wobble.

The Earth's wobble has stopped.
As explained in the geology and space science websiteearthchangesmedia.com, "The Chandler wobble was first discovered back in 1891 by Seth Carlo Chandler an American astronomer. The effect causes the Earth's poles to move in an irregular circle of 3 to 15 meters in diameter in an oscillation. The Earth's Wobble has a 7-year cycle which produces two extremes, a small spiraling wobble circle and a large spiraling wobble circle, about 3.5 years apart.
"The Earth was in October 2005 moving into the small spiraling circle (the MIN phase of the wobble), which should have slowly unfolded during 2006 and the first few months of 2007. (Each spiraling circle takes about 14 months). But suddenly at the beginning of November 2005, the track of the location of the spin axis veered at a very sharp right angle to its circling motion.
"The track of the spin axis began to slow down and by about January 8, 2006, it ceased nearly all relative motion on the x and y coordinates which are used to define the daily changing location of the spin axis."
And the Earth stopped wobbling—exactly as predicted as another strong sign of an imminent Ice Age.
So, the start of a new Ice Age is marked by a magnetic pole reversal, increased volcanic activity, larger and more frequent earthquakes, tsunamis, colder winters, superstorms and the halting of the Chandler wobble.
Unfortunately, all of those conditions are being met.
